Senior Mark Murphy (DHS ’08) was credited with a ground ball in Bates’ 12-8 loss to Hamilton on Saturday in NY. Earlier in the week he had 2 ground balls in an 11-5 win over No. 11-ranked Bowdoin, 11-5… Colby freshman Brett Sahlberg (DHS ’11) finished 7th in the long jump at Saturday’s Jim Sheehan Memorial Track & Field Invitational at Fitchburg State College  to help Colby finish 3rd in the 11-team field … Freshman Clark Demos (DHS ’11) caused a turnover in Skidmore’s 11-8 loss to RPI on Wednesday… Freshman Stephanie Lenhardt (DHS ’11) had an assist in Westfield State’s 17-0 trouncing of Elms College on Thursday. In Saturday’s 21-5 win over Mass Maritime she scored a goal… Freshman Keri Gould (DHS ’11) had an unassisted goal in Stonehill’s 19-5 rout of Franklin Pierce on Wednesday in NH… Freshman Joe Coyne (DHS ’11) had 3 RBI and a triple as St. Joseph’s swept a doubleheader from Emerson over the weekend… Freshman Charlotte Cipolletti (DHS ’11) had a groundball and 3 shots on net in Columbia’s 14-13 OT loss to Connecticut College on Saturday… Sophomore Katie Griffin (DHS ’10) caused 2 turnovers and had 3 shots on net In Colby’s 11-9 loss to Trinity on Friday… Freshman Peter Willauer (DHS ’11) registered an assist in Colby’s 11-5 upset win over No. 15-ranked Wesleyan… Freshman Hakeem Leckey (DHS ’10) was credited with his first career assist in Syracuse’s 10-9 win over No. 11-ranked Princeton on Saturday in the Carrier Dome… Senior Grant Marston (DHS ’08) was credited with a ground ball in Quinnipiac’s 15-5 win over Wagner on Saturday… Sophomore Jeff Blout (DHS ’10) went 7 innings, striking out 6 and giving up just one hit and one earned run in Wesleyan’s 10-3 win over Middlebury on Saturday… Sophomores Jackson Siefert (DHS ’10) and John Ricciardi (DHS ’10) both had goals in Roger Williams’ 18-6 win over Salve Regina on Wednesday. Ricciardi also had the opening goal in Saturday’s 15-5 win over Curry on Saturday… Junior Billy Hocking (BCHS ’09) went 2 for 3 with an RBI, a double, and scored 2 runs in Babson’s 14-1 win over Clark on Saturday.  In Friday’s 5-3 win over Clark, Hocking went 2 for 3 with 2 RBI and a home run… Bowdoin junior Danny Findley (Roxbury Latin ’10) went 4 for 8 with an RBI in Saturday’s doubleheader in over Bates… Junior Addy White (DHS ’09) finished 8th in the B Division for the Roger Williams sailing team in last week’s Dellenbaugh Women’s Regatta in Providence… Junior Cory DeCollibus (Tabor ’09) and her No. 2 ranked College of Charleston sailing team placed 3rd at last week’s Southern New England Team races hosted by Connecticut College… Babson College junior Mike Griffin (DHS ’09) had a goal in the Beavers’ 10-5 win over Manhattanville on Saturday in Wellesley… Junior Casey Ducinski (DHS ’10) had a pair of RBI in Brandeis’ doubleheader sweep over Lasell last week, then followed that by scoring a pair of runs in the Judges’ two-game sweep of Suffolk… Junior Derek Sweet (DHS ’09) had an assist in No. 3-ranked Lynchburg’s 23-8 win over Randolph-Macon on Saturday in VA. He also had 2 assists, 7 shots, and 6 ground balls in a 16-1 win over Randolph College earlier in the week… Senior Harry Holden (Portsmouth Abbey ’08) had 3 shots on net and caused a turnover in Endicott’s 16-3 win over Wentworth on Saturday… Senior Elwin McCarthy (DHS ’08) had 4 groundballs and caused 3 turnovers in Nichols’ 11-3 loss to the U. of New England on Saturday in Maine… Senior Charlie Willauer (Proctor Academy ’08) had 2 goals and 3 assists in Wheaton’s 20-3 win over Regis College on Thursday… Senior John Keating (DHS ’07) went 2 for 7 with a double and scored 2 runs in Wheaton’s doubleheader sweep of Western N. E. College over the weekend… Senior Gus Quinzani (DHS ’08) had 2 goals for St. Josephs in their 13-9 loss to Hofstra on Saturday on Long Island… Senior Scott Austin (DHS ’08) had a goal in Cornell’s 14-10 win over Harvard on Saturday in Ithaca, NY… Babson senior Trish Babson (DHS ’08) had 2 goals and an assist in the Beavers’ 19-7 win over Smith on Saturday in Northhampton… One hundred Amherst College student-athletes have been named to the NESCAC’s 2012 Winter All-Academic Team. One of those students was Mike Baran (Thayer ’08). To be honored, students must maintain a cumulative GPA of 3.35 and have reached at least sophomore academic standing. Of Amherst’s 100 honorees, 15 were also named to an All-Conference team in their respective sport-including Baran
