Freshman Stephanie Lenhardt (DHS ‘11) scored 4 goals and added 4 assists in Westfield State’s 19-5 win over Framingham on Saturday. Two days earlier she scored a goal in a 17-15 loss to Norwich… Babson’s senior captain Trish Babson (DHS ’08) had a goal, four assists, and eight draw controls in the Beaver’s 15-12 win over Springfield on Saturday. Earlier in the week she assisted on 4 goals in Babson’s 15-9 win over Wesleyan… Senior Scott Austin (DHS ’08) and his Cornell University lacrosse team defeated Dartmouth 7-5 to remain atop the Ivy League standings… Senior Gus Quinzani (DHS ‘08) scored 2 goals for St. Joseph’s in a 15-3 defeat to No. 2-ranked UMass on Saturday… Senior John Keating (DHS ’07) went 1 for 5 in Wheaton’s 3-2 11-inning loss to Babson on Saturday. Earlier in the week Keating had a big game versus Bridgewater State going 3 for 6 with a double, 2 RBI, and 2 runs scored in the 11-6 win. .. Senior Charlie Willauer (Proctor ’08) scored 4 goals in Wheaton’s 11-5 win over Clark on Saturday… Senior Dane Molina (DHS ’08) scored a goal in Hartwick’s 17-10 win over Castleton State last Tuesday… Erin Levesue (DHS ’08) and her UNH lacrosse team beat Vanderbilt, 12-11, last Wednesday in NH… Senior Elwin McCarthy (DHS ’08) was responsible for creating 5 turnovers in Nichols’ 7-6 win over Wentworth on Saturday. He was also credited with 6 groundballs… Senior Chris Casey (’07) had a goal and an assist in Sacred Heart’s 11-8 loss to Bryant on Saturday… Senior Grant Marston (DHS ’08) recorded 3 groundballs in Quinnipiac’s 12-8 win over Mt. St. Mary’s on Saturday in MD… Junior Casey Ducinski (DHS ’09) struck out 6 batters and was the winning pitcher in Brandeis’ 6-2 win over Wellesley on Wednesday. In the first game of the doubleheader she walked twice and scored a run in a 6-1 Brandeis win… Junior Mike Griffin (DHS ’09) had a goal and an assist in Babson’s 21-1 lacrosse wipeout of Mass Maritime… Junior crew Cory DeCollibus (Tabor ’08) and her College of Charleston sailing team won the Szambecki team race championship last week in Norfolk, VA…Senior Danny Findley (Roxbury Latin ’09) had an RBI and went 2 for 7 as Bowdoin split a pair of games with Wesleyan over the weekend… Babson’s Billy Hocking (BCHS ’09) went 2 for 4, but his team lost the first game of a doubleheader to Wheaton, 4-3, on Sunday in Wellesley. On Friday Hocking went 1 for 1 as a pinch hitter in Babson’s 3-2 win over Wheaton… Sophomore John Ricciardi (DHS ’10) had an assist and scooped up three ground balls in Roger Williams’ 10-3 win over Nichols on Wednesday… Sophomore Katie Griffin (DHS ’10) had 2 goals in Colby’s 9-7 win over Connecticut College on Saturday. Colby is undefeated at 8-0… Sophomore Jeff Blout (DHS ’10) had his first save of the season in relief in Wesleyan’s 2-1 win over Bowdoin and Matt Savard (DHS ’10)… Freshman James Murphy (Brewster ’11) had 2 goals and an assist in Hartford’s 24-4 rout of Wagner last week… Freshman Peter Willauer (DHS ’11) scored his first collegiate goal in Colby’s 8-7 OT loss to Connecticut College on Saturday… Columbia freshman Charlotte Cipolletti (DHS ’11) had her first collegiate goal in a 11-10 loss to Iona on Friday… Freshman Joe Coyne (DHS ’11) went 2 for 3 with a double and an RBI in St. Joe’s 4-3 win over Albertus Magnus on Saturday. On Friday Coyne went 1 for 4 with a double, an RBI, and scored a run in 5-0 shutout of UMass-Boston… Freshman Keri Gould (’11) had a goal in Stonehill’s 18-5 trouncing of AIC on Thursday in Springfield… Freshman Olivia McCarthy (DHS ’10) scored a goal in Iona’s 11-10 win over Columbia on Friday… Freshman Brayden Minahan (DHS ‘11) spent spring break in California with the Trinity College men’s tennis team and won his match against Babson, 6-3/6-1… Freshman Clark Demos (DHS ’11) had a groundball in Skidmore’s 16-9 win over Vassar… Freshman Brett Sahlberg (DHS ’11) placed sixth in the long jump and was seventh in the 400-meter hurdles for the Colby College men’s outdoor track and field team at the Tufts University Snowflake Classic on Saturday. Sahlberg had a leap of 19’4” in the long jump and finished in 59.83 in the 400 hurdles in the non-scoring meet… Freshman Charlie Finnegan (Thayer ’11) had 3 groundballs and caused 3 turnovers in Trinity’s 9-8 OT win over Tufts on Saturday…Mass Maritime junior Tyler Genereux (DHS ‘09) scattered 5 hits while striking out five in 6 innings to earn an 8-6 rain-soaked victory over MCLA. Earlier in the week, Genereux went 1-3 and had four putouts, including a double play in a loss to Tufts. |
