Freshman Pat Williams (DHS ’10) is an outfielder on the Westfield State baseball team. In a doubleheader earlier this season Westfield played Bowdoin with former Duxbury Legion teammates, Matt Savard (DHS ’10) and Danny Findley (Roxbury Latin ’09), on the other side of the diamond. Bowdoin swept the double header, 13-2 and 3-2, with all three players getting a base hit. The highlight of the game was McWilliams robbing Savard of a home run, pulling the deep fly back over the left field wall in the second inning of the second game… All-New England senior attack Trisha Babson (DHS ’08) had a goal and an assist in the Beavers’ 19-9 win over Frostburg State to start the week. Three days later she scored another goal and added 2 assists in a 16-8 win over Colorado College… Senior Scott Austin (DHS ’08) scored a goal in Cornell’s 9-8 OT win vs. Denver last Tuesday on Long Island… Senior Gus Quinzani (DHS ’08) was credited with 3 groundballs in St. Joseph’s 7-3 lacrosse loss to Penn State on Saturday in Philadelphia… Senior John Keating (DHS ’07) blasted a home run and drove in 2 runs in Wheaton’s 7-5 win over Coast Guard on Saturday in Norton… Senior Mark Murphy (DHS ’08) was credited with a groundball in Bates’ 10-7 loss to Trinity on Saturday in Maine… Wheaton College senior Charlie Willauer (Proctor Academy ’08) had 3 groundballs in the Lyons’ 12-6 win over Lasell last Wednesday… Senior Matt Landry (DHS ’08) had an assist in Hartwick’s 18-3 win over Cobleskill on Wednesday… Senior captain Elwin McCarthy (DHS ’08) had 3 groundballs as his Nichols College lacrosse team beat SUNY-Canton, 13-5…. Sacred Heart senior Chris Casey (DHS ’07) had 2 goals in his team’s 10-9 win over Hartford last Wednesday… Freshman Bryan Barry (DHS’11) had an assist and a groundball in Fairfield’s 17-12 win over Hobart…  Brandeis junior pitcher Casey Ducinski (DHS ’09) went 2 for 2, scored a run, and stole 2 bases in a 5-4 loss to Salem State on Saturday… Junior Mike Griffin (DHS ’09) had a goal and an assist in Babson’s 13-6 win over Kean in Whittier, CA on Thursday… Bowdoin junior Danny Findley (Roxbury Latin ’09) was on a tear in the Polar Bears last three games going 9 for 21 at the plate with 6 RBI and 3 runs scored… Sophomore Katie Griffin (DHS ’10) had a goal in Colby’s 11-10 win over Tufts on Friday… Sophomore Jeff Blout (DHS ’10) struck out 3 batters in 2 innings of relief in Wesleyan’s 7-6 loss to John Hopkins last Wednesday in Mesa, AZ… Freshman Charlotte Cipolletti (DHS ’11) was credited with a groundball in Columbia’s 15-4 loss to Dartmouth on Saturday in Hanover, NH… Freshman Joe Coyne (DHS ’11) went 4 for 14 with a double in St. Joseph’s weekend sweep of Roger Williams and N.J. City… Freshman Keri Gould (DHS ’11) registered a groundball in Stonehill’s 11-9 win over St. Michael’s and followed that with a goal in the Skyhawk’s 22-3 rout of Southern CT… Freshman Clark Demos (DHS ’11) had a groundball and caused a turnover in Skidmore’s 9-8 2OT win over Williams last Tuesday… Junior Quinn Cully (DHS ’09) recorded 2 groundballs in Notre Dame’s 12-9 Big East opener over Rutgers on Sunday in South Bend… Junior Derek Sweet (DHS ’08) and his Lynchburg Hornets knocked off Washington and Lee, 12-4, on Sunday in Virginia… Freshman Charlie Finnegan (Thayer ’11) is a member of the Trinity College lacrosse team.
