The Duxbury HS indoor track team entered five events at last week’s
MSTCA Division 3 State Relays held at the Reggie Lewis Track Center in
Boston.
The Duxbury HS indoor track team entered five events at last week’s MSTCA Division 3 State Relays held at the Reggie Lewis Track Center in Boston. The girls were up to the challenge, as the Lady Dragons were entered in the high jump, shot put, sprint medley 8-2-2-4, and the distance medley 12-8-4-16, while the boys competed in the 4 x 800m and the distance medley 12-8-4-16. The girls’ shot-put team of Kelly Murphy, Danielle Antonellis, and Beth Ruggles.{sidebar id=1} finished ninth among a field of 31 with a total distance of 79’ 9.25”, while the boys’ distance medley team of Paul Dacey (1200m), Tom Fiset (400m), Dan Creed (800m) and Jon McKinley (1600m) finished ninth in a field of 27. McKinley ran a personal best in the anchor leg mile with a time of 4:48.2. |
