Amanda Jones, along with her synchronized skating teammates known as “Icing on the Cape,†got off to a great start Saturday evening when they skated in their season opener at the Thanksgiving Synchronized Skating Competition in Plymouth. The Pre-Juvenile team took fourth place bringing home the pewter medal in their division and skating to “Be Our Guest†from Disney’s Beauty and the Beast coached by Cheri Rigby and assistant coach Kiva Leibowitz. Team Members are: Caroline Duffy, Kali Flaherty, Caroline Horwood, Amanda Jones, Gracie Kennedy, Theresa McMahon, Stephen Murray, Cassy Pagilarani, Gabrielle Renz-Uitti, Emily Sholi, Emily Walton and Allie Way On Dec. 12 and 13 they will host the Bourne Skating Club’s Cape Cod Synchronized Skating Classic at the John Gallo Ice Arena in Bourne.
