Duxbury Youth Hockey will hold its annual fundraising party on Friday night, April 4 at 7 p.m. at the Duxbury American Legion Post 223 at the corner of Rt. 3A and Rt. 14. The purpose of the fundraiser is to give parents of players a chance to spend time together in a social environment and to help raise funds to offset the increasing costs of ice-time, uniforms, and other associated items. Duxbury Youth Hockey will hold its annual fundraising party on Friday night, April 4 at 7 p.m. at the Duxbury American Legion Post 223 at the corner of Rt. 3A and Rt. 14. The purpose of the fundraiser is to give parents of players a chance to spend time together in a social environment and to help raise funds to offset the increasing costs of ice-time, uniforms, and other associated items. The event will feature a band, dinner, dancing, and a silent auction. The doors will open at 7 p.m. and a buffet dinner will be served at 8. The band and dancing will begin promptly at 9 p.m.{sidebar id=1} Tickets for the event are $30 each or two for $50, and can be purchased ahead of time at The Bog during power-skating, or online at www.duxburyyouthhockey.org.
