Senior Ted Brzek (St. Sebastian’s ‘04) assisted on the first of two Hobart goals in the Statesmen’s 5-2 loss to Plattsburgh in the NCAA Div III quarterfinal game. It was the final game of Brzek’s college career… Bridgewater State junior Jamie Ducinski (DHS ’06) pitched six innings and allowed just three runs while striking out five and allowing five hits in a 5-3 win over Spring Arbor University last week in Kissammee, FL. In that same game junior Rachael Sprague (DHS ’05) doubled and scored an insurance run. Over the weekend Sprague knocked in a pair of runs with a double to help BSC rally from a 6-2 deficit and defeat Suffolk, 9-6... Bridgewater State junior Jamie Ducinski (DHS ’06) pitched six innings and allowed just three runs while striking out five and allowing five hits in a 5-3 win over Spring Arbor University last week in Kissammee, FL. In that same game junior Rachael Sprague (DHS ’05) doubled and scored an insurance run. Over the weekend Sprague knocked in a pair of runs with a double to help BSC rally from a 6-2 deficit and defeat Suffolk, 9-6... Assumption freshman Nick Violandi (DHS ’07) was credited with three shots on net and a groundball in an 11-4 loss to Merrimack last Tuesday… Senior co-captain Bethany Nardone (DHS ’04) was credited with a pair of groundballs in Babson’s 13-12 2-OT win over Trinity… Junior Peter Bizinkauskas (DHS ’05) pitched a scoreless seventh inning in Babson’s 10-1 rout of MIT…{sidebar id=4} Bentley freshman Troy Neville (DHS ’07) scored his first career goal and sophomore Kevin Gould (DHS ’05) scored another, but it wasn’t enough to keep the Falcons from absorbing a 9-8 loss to St. Anselm’s. Neville was also 5 for 7 on face-offs, while Gould had four shots on net… Freshman Leigh Tedeschi (DHS ’07) had two assists in Bentley’s 18-15 loss to Southern NH University on Saturday. Earlier in the week Tedeschi scored two goals in an 18-14 loss to Merrimack… Curry sophomore Gary Hines (DHS ’06) pitched six innings and struck out four in a 17-1 season-opening win over Keystone College… Georgetown sophomore Chris Nixon (DHS ’06) gets bragging rights over Duke’s Max Quinzani (DHS ’06) after his #10-ranked Hoyas knocked off the #1-ranked Blue Devils, 11-7, on Saturday in Washington, DC. Quinzani scored three goals for the Blue Devils, while Nixon helped his team with a solid defensive effort in pinning Duke with its first loss of the season… Senior Kristen Barry (Thayer ’04) scored three goals in Dartmouth’s 9-8 OT loss to Yale on Saturday in Hanover, NH… Junior Steve Caramello (DHS ’05) had an assist in Hartwick’s 8-7 win over St. John Fisher on Saturday in Oneonta, NY… Hobart freshman Will Tucker (DHS ’07) and doubles partner Jamie Flanigan defeated Sid Dunn and John Gaw, 8-3, at #3 doubles in a 5-4 win over FDU-Florham. Tucker followed that later in the week with a singles and doubles win in a 9-0 shutout of Frostburg State…{sidebar id=1} Holy Cross senior Cara O’Sullivan (DHS ’04) and her Crusader lacrosse team knocked off Bucknell, 16-6, on Saturday in Worcester… Indiana junior Peter Antons (DHS ’05) won his #3 doubles match, 8-6, in the Hoosier’s 4-3 win over Minnesota on Saturday… Sophomore Alec Siefert (DHS ’06) scored a goal as #4-ranked Ithaca beat #3-ranked Cortland State, 9-8, in OT on Saturday… Richmond junior Lexie Marrocco (DHS ’05) scored two goals, but it wasn’t enough to keep the Spiders from dropping a 17-12 decision to Towson…

Eastern CT. State on Saturday… Freshman Grant Bowen (DHS ’07), a
catcher on the Carleton College (MN) baseball team, has appeared in
four games so far this year… Freshman Kara Oloskey (DHS ’07) is a
