The Rec. Dept. will hold registration on March 3 – March 15, Mon. through Fri. from 8 a.m.-1 p.m. only. There will also be a Thursday night registration on March 6 from 6-8 p.m. There will be a Saturday registration on March 15 from 9-11 a.m. Checks only; cash will not be accepted. Girls Capture Patriot League Swim Championship

Add one more important victory to the record of the girls’ swim team, as they dominated their rivals with 427 points at the Patriot League Championships at Middleboro High School. Duxbury was ahead from the first event and won seven of 11 events, and took second in four others. Scituate/Cohasset was second with 210 points.

The Gettysburg College wrestling team scored pins in three of its first four matches en route to a 24-12 Centennial Conference dual-meet victory over visiting McDaniel College at Bream Gymnasium. Freshman Jack Bostrom (DHS ’07) set the tone early by scoring two near falls in the first round of his 133-pound match with Tim Hall before earning his first collegiate pin with just under a minute remaining in the second round…
