Michael DeCoste and Pamela Woodford were married on September 3, 2011 at Saint Mary’s of the Lake Church in Skaneateles, New York.  Pamela, daughter of Clinton and Kathleen Woodford of Skaneateles, graduated from Saint John Fisher College in Rochester, NY. She is currently employed at Cornell University. Michael, son of John and Nancy DeCoste formerly of Duxbury, is a graduate of Brown University and the Samuel Curtis Johnson School of Management at Cornell. He will be employed by Proctor and Gamble.

Geoffrey and Nancy Wilkinson of Duxbury and Marco Island Fla. announce the engagement of their daughter Ashley to Peter Van Haur, son of Jim and Jane Van Haur also from Duxbury. Ashley is a 2000 graduate of Tabor Academy, 2004 graduate of James Madison University where she earned a bachelors degree in marketing, and a 2011 graduate of Prep MD.

Stephen and Marilyn Peterson of Duxbury announce the engagement of their daughter, Michele Kiley to Jared Hadfield, son of Joel Hadfield of Leavenworth, Kan. and Joanne Metsinger of Olathe, Kan.  Michele graduated from the University of Vermont and Curry College and is employed as a registered nurse at Milton Hospital.  Jared graduated from the University of Kansas and is an independent contractor.  The wedding will take place in September, 2012.

Dennis and Candace Guittarr of Duxbury announce the engagement of their daughter, Lindsay Marie Guittarr to Shane Hamilton Bohan, the son of Peter Bohan of Manchester, N.H. and Barbara Bohan of Concord, N.H. Lindsay is a 1999 graduate of Duxbury High School, and earned a Bachelor of Science degree in business administration from the Whittemore School of Business at the University of New Hampshire.  She is currently employed as a real estate agent in Boston with Boston Realty Advisors.

Michael and Cindy Karlsberg of Duxbury announce the engagement of their daughter Alissa to Sean Merrick, son of Mary Lou Merrick of Rockland, formerly of Norwell, and the late David Merrick.  Alissa is a 1997 graduate of Thayer Academy and a 2001 graduate of Simmons College.  She is a senior relationship manager at Charles Schwab Institutional Sales.  Sean is a 1993 graduate of Thayer Academy and a 1997 graduate of St. Lawrence University.  He is a project manager for Johnson Controls.  An August 2012 wedding is planned.

Courtney Elizabeth Coppens married Brian Christopher Henrick on July 29, 2011 in Boston.  Courtney is the daughter of Cheryl Coppens of Duxbury and the late Ray Coppens.  She is a graduate of Fordham University and has a master’s degree in social work from Boston College.  She is a LICSW working as a school social worker within the Danvers School District.  Brian is a graduate of the University of Massachusetts and has a degree in criminal justice.  He is presently pursuing a master’s degree in criminal justice, and works for the Greater Lawrence Vocational High School.  After a honeymoon in St. Lucia, the couple reside in South Boston.

Dr. Ross and Maureen Ajemian of Duxbury, announce the engagement of their daughter, Erin Marie to Jacob Thomas Overbey, son of Randy and Susan Overbey of Beaufort, N.C.  Erin is a graduate of Duxbury High School and Fairfield University, where she earned her bachelor’s degree in international business and finance. She is employed as a financial analyst at Jack Morton Worldwide in Boston.

Mr. and Mrs. Keith Wilson of Easton, Penn. announce the engagement of their daughter, Brooke Taylor Wilson to Eric Bengtz Valentine, son of Lanci and Page Valentine of Duxbury.

Mark and Kathy Dunn of Duxbury announce the engagement of their daughter Kaitlin to Brendan Lang, son of Dr. Robert and Kathy Lang of Dartmouth. Kaitlin graduated from DHS in 2004 and Boston College in 2008 from the Carroll School of Management with a double degree in finance and marketing. She is an associate in the Fund of Hedge Funds product group at Citi. Brendan graduated from Dartmouth High School in 2004 and Boston College in 2008 from the Carroll School of Management with a double degree in finance and economics. He is an associate at Alliance Bernstein doing private wealth management. They met freshman year at Boston College and currently reside in South Boston. A fall 2012 wedding is planned.

Ellen Murphy Coghlan and Robb Lucas D’Ambruoso were married on May 21, 2011 at the Holy Trinity Church in Harwich with a reception following at the Wequassett Resort in Chatham. The Reverend Kevin O’Leary, the bride’s uncle, officiated the ceremony. Ellen was joined by maid of honor, Erica Pitt (Andersen), and bridesmaids Jennifer Cipolletti (Fagan), Bonnie Herman (Mattern), Jessica Schroeder (Keohane), Lauren Vancheri, Shaye Vercollone, and Tyla Vercollone. The best man was Jared Freed, and groomsmen were Timothy Coghlan, David Crowe, Robert Jacobs, Adam Norman, Jordan Schwartz, and Adam Spiewak.

Kevin and Ann O’Connor of Duxbury announce the engagement of their daughter, Erin O’Connor, to Joseph McGrail, son of Jim McGrail of Mashpee and Carol Quill of Marstons Mills. Erin is a 2005 graduate of Duxbury High School and a 2009 graduate of the University of Massachusetts, Amherst. She is now an account sales manager for Oyster Bay Wines. Joe is also a graduate of the University of Massachusetts, Amherst and currently attends the F.W. Olin Graduate School of Business at Babson College. He is a regional sales trainer at the Boston Beer Company. An August wedding is planned in Duxbury.

Valerie Haight-Cappola and Tad Donaldson were married Oct. 30, 2011 at the United Church of Christ in Norwell, officiated by Rev. Dr. Stephen Chapin Garner. The bride is the daughter of George and Evelyn Haight of Duxbury and the bridegroom is the son of the late Edward “Dino” and Connie Donaldson, and soon-to-be stepfather Ernie Incorvati of The Villages, Fla.

Paul and Patricia Murray of Chelmsford announce the engagement of their daughter, Lindsay Wells Murray to David Christopher Ryan, son of Judy Ryan of Plymouth, formerly of Duxbury, and the late Robert Ryan of Duxbury.

Lucy Morton Fitzpatrick of Boston and Logan Vanness Ramseyer of Duxbury were married on Aug. 12, 2011 at St. Cecelia Cathedral in Boston.  The wedding was followed by a reception at the Boston Public Library.  The couple honeymooned in the Greek Islands and Istanbul.  Lucy and Logan are both graduates of Thayer Academy.  Lucy graduated from Simmons College in Boston and is now in executive management training at Bearing Specialties in Canton.  Logan graduated from Rollins College in Winter Park, Fla. and is now an account manager with the Computer Merchant in Lowell.  The couple resides in the Back Bay, Boston.

Jennifer and Stephen Herchen of Plymouth announce the marriage of their daughter, Annelise Louise, to Drew Harris Rhoda, son of Julie Horn of Fountain City, Ind. and Mark Rhoda-Reis of Madison, Wis. 

The wedding took place on July 8, 2011 at the bride’s family home overlooking Cape Cod Bay.  Pastor Josh Carlson of New Hope Chapel officiated the late afternoon ceremony.   Family and friends presented readings and provided music.  The celebration continued with an evening reception for family and friends at Waverly Oaks Golf Club in Plymouth.  A second reception for Midwest family and friends was held July 30 at the Tarum Shrine Club in Richmond, Ind.

Richard and Deborah Gallagher of Duxbury announce the engagement of their daughter, Kate Gallagher, to Edward (Ted) Mulrane, son of Edward and Barbara Mulrane of Ormond Beach, Fla.

Sylvia Barry of Duxbury and Thomas Barry of Florida announce the engagement of their daughter Larissa M. Barry to Anthony J. Falzone, the son of Mary Falzone of Malden.

Larissa is a 1991 graduate of Duxbury High School.  In 1995 she received her B.S. in corporate communications from Castleton Vermont State College.  She is a field marketing manager in the healthcare division of Nuance Communications.

Michele Danielle Whalen and Justin John Rachwalski were married Nov. 5, 2011, at St. Paul Parish in Cambridge.

Michele, daughter of Robert and Donna Whalen of Cherry Hill, N.J., is a graduate of Villanova University and New England School of Law.  She currently works in the Office of the General Counsel at PricewaterhouseCoopers in Boston.  Justin, son of John and Fostira Rachwalski of Duxbury, is a graduate of Brown University and MIT Sloan School of Management.   He currently works in Strategy at Google in Cambridge.

Marlene and Tom Biffar of Jacksonville, Fla. (formerly of Duxbury) announce the engagement of their son, Michael, to Patsy Tobey, daughter of David and Wanda Johnson of Wareham.  Michael is a 1998 graduate of Duxbury High School and a 2003 graduate of Curry College. Patsy graduated from Wareham High School in 2000 and Bridgewater State College in 2005. A summer 2013 wedding is planned.
