Elsie S. (Perry) Veiga of Brockton, formerly of Duxbury, died May 9, 2012 at the age of 84. She was the daughter of the late Frank and Rose (Lopes) Perry and the wife of the late Manuel J. Veiga. Mrs. Veiga leaves her children, Rose Veiga Evans, Mary Ann Veiga and Manuel J. Veiga Jr. all of Brockton; her siblings, Loretta Perry Weaver of Ga., Richard, Robert and Rudolph Perry all of Conn.; 13 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren; three great great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. Visiting hours were held at the MacDonald Funeral Home in Marshfield on Monday, May 14 and a funeral Mass was held on Tuesday, May 15 at Holy Family Church in Duxbury. Mrs. Veiga is buried in Mayflower Cemetery. Contributions in her memory may be made to the American Cancer Society 30 Speen St. Framingham, MA 01701.
