Constance T. Rothery

Constance T. Rothery of Kingston died March 1 while visiting her daughter in Purcellville, Va. Born in 1925 in Springfield to Paul and Therese Rothery, she graduated from Classical High School in Springfield and attended the University of Massachusetts and the Perkins School for the Deaf.  She married her former husband, Robert Enemark in 1949, and taught deaf children in Schenectady, N.Y. For many years Ms. Rothery was a member of Trinity Methodist Church in Springfield, the First Congregational Church at Weymouth Heights, the Pilgrim Church of Duxbury, and the United Church of Christ in Norwell. In her retirement, she enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and siblings as well as oil painting, which resulted in many canvases.

Ms. Rothery leaves her former husband, Robert Enemark of Duxbury; her sons, John Enemark and his wife Sharon of Ft. Worth, Tex., Eric Enemark and his wife Maria of Kingston, Chris Enemark of Georgetown, Maine; her daughter, Carol Enemark of Purcellville,Va.; her sister and brother-in-law, the late Janice and F. Richard Marks; her brothers, Frederic Rothery of Wilbraham and Paul Rothery of Amherst; eight grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.  A memorial service and celebration of her life was held at the Norwell Church on May 7.
