Charles Jackson Hoover, 82

Charles Jackson Hoover, Sr. (“Jack”), 82 of Duxbury, died Sunday April 8 at the Allerton House in Duxbury.

Mr. Hoover was the husband of the late Joan K. (Salvucci) Hoover.   He leaves his sons, Charles Jackson Hoover, Jr and his wife Kelli of Marietta, Ga. and Reid Allen Hoover of Spring Hill, Fla.; his sister, Lorna Hoover of Chelsea; his grandchildren, Charles Jackson Hoover III and Reid Allen Hoover, Jr. A family graveside service was held at the Mayflower Cemetery in Duxbury on Thursday, April 12.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in his memory may be made to the Duxbury Bay Maritime School, 457 Washington Street, Snug Harbor, Duxbury, MA  02331.
