Francis A. Shea, 60 of Manomet, formerly of Duxbury, died Dec. 29, 2011. Francis was raised in Duxbury. He graduated from Sacred Heart High School Kingston and served in the US Marines, in Vietnam. Mr. Shea leaves his brother, Harry Shea and his wife Joan; his sisters, Alice Curtis and her husband Ken of Danvers, Barbara Jannoni and her husband Robert of Carver; and many nieces and nephews. He was the son of the late Henry Shea and Rose M. Fitzgibbon. A Funeral Mass will be held in Holy Family Church, 601 Tremont St. Duxbury on Jan. 4 at 11 a.m. Friends may offer condolences to the family at 10:30 a.m. in the entrance to the Church. Mr. Shea will be buried in the Mayflower Cemetery. Contributions in his memory may be made to Sacred Heart High School 399 Bishops Highway Kingston, MA 02364 or American Cancer Society 30 Speen St. Framingham, MA 01701.
