Jesse L. Coston, 87 of Duxbury, died Sept. 4 at his home. He was the husband of the late Ann (Williams) Coston. He was born in Miller County, Fla. and was a longtime resident of Duxbury. Mr. Coston served in the U.S. Navy as a Steward’s Mate, First Class. In later years he was a mechanic for diesel engines and a landscaper. Mr. Coston leaves his son, Ernest Coston of Boston; his daughter, Cynthia Mohammed of Boston; his grandchildren, Omar and Matthew Coston, Kenneth, Keith, Cindy and Shandra Mohammed; and five great-grandchildren. A graveside military service will be held at Mayflower Cemetery in Duxbury on Wednesday, Sept. 7 at 10 a.m. |
