Arthur H. Freeland, of Falmouth, formerly of Hanson and Plymouth, died unexpectedly June 19, at Jordan Hospital, at the age of 51. He graduated from Duxbury High School and had worked as a chef for many years. Mr. Freeland leaves his son, Matthew A. Bass of Rockland; his parents, Arthur F. and Kathleen (Jesse) Freeland of Plymouth; his brother, Robert and his wife Dawn of Manomet; his sister, Mary Hickey and her husband Walter R. Jr. of Abington; six nieces and nephews and five great-nieces and great-nephews. He was the brother of the late Warren Freeland. A funeral service will be held at the Second Church of Plymouth in Manomet Tuesday, June 28, at 1 p.m., followed by burial at Manomet Cemetery. A visiting hour will be held at the church from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, his family requests that donations in his memory be made to Gosnold on Cape Cod, 200 Ter Heun Dr., Falmouth, MA 02540. |
