Phillip R. Hannan, 65 of Duxbury, died at home on Jan. 29. Originally from Jaffrey, N.H., Mr. Hannan was a US Army Vietnam veteran. He recently had acquired his private pilot’s license. In addition to flying, he enjoyed a long career as a salesman, and loved to paint landscapes and portraits. Mr. Hannan leaves his wife, Sarah (Flynn) Hannan; his children, Peter R. Hannan of Boston, and Abigail C. Hannan of Brooklyn, N.Y. ; his parents, the late Maxwell and Grace Hannan; his sisters, Gail Duchan of Peterborough, N.H., and the late Joyce Belletete; and his niece and two nephews. A memorial service for family and friends will be held Saturday, Feb. 5 at 1 p.m. at the First Parish Church, 842 Tremont St, Duxbury. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the New England Center for Homeless Veterans, 17 Court St, Boston, MA 02108. |
