Patricia M. (Donnelly) Roche, 81, of Providence, RI, died Friday, Jan. 7, at Roger Williams Medical Center in Providence. She was the wife of the late Thomas F. Roche. Born in Flushing, NY, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Margaret (Siefert) Donnelly. Mrs. Roche attended Fordham University. In addition she attended Massasoit College and received her associates degree in travel and tourism as caledictorian. Patricia Roche worked for Network Services acquiring new business on Nantucket Island. Once the family moved to Duxbury, she was employed as the Controller at Bayside Marine. After her retirement, she worked in the office of the West Greenwich, RI town clerk. She was a member and past president of the Acton, Massachusetts Garden Club and the Massachusetts Horticultural Society. She leaves three sons, John C. Roche and his wife Cynthia, Matthew P. Roche and his wife Anne-Marie and Mark P. Roche and his wife Dale; a daughter, Karen D. Roche; two brothers, Gerard and Vincent Donnelly and five grandchildren. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial Tuesday, January 11, 2011 at 10 a.m. in Holy Family Church, 601 Tremont St., Duxbury, MA. Visitation at the Maceroni Funeral Home, 1381 Smith St., North Providence, RI on Monday from 5 – 7 p.m.. Burial will be in Mayflower Cemetery in Duxbury.
