Gerald A. McCluskey of Duxbury, formerly of Marshfield and Natick, died at home, Jan. 2l, at the age of 84.  Mr. McCluskey was a salesman and sales manager for the Boston Gas Company for twenty years.  He was past president of Newton/Needham Chamber of Commerce.  He ran and completed the Boston Marathon at the age of 44. The same year, he also participated and completed the running race up Mount Washington.

Mr. McCluskey leaves his wife, Cheryl (Bates) McCluskey; his sons, Timothy G. McCluskey and his wife Lorna of Duxbury, the late Robert McCluskey and the late Kevin McCluskey; his daughters, Kathleen Pizzella of Green Harbor, Karen Overshiner of Duxbury; a sister, Marie Moore of Calif.; his daughter in law, Donna McCluskey of Charlestown; nine grandchildren, one great grandson, many nieces and nephews, and his friend, Bill W.  Services were held at MacDonald Funeral Home.  Contributions in his memory may be made to Beacon Hospice, 529 Main St., Suite l0l, Charlestown, MA 02l29.
