Louise Demers Noble, a 12 year resident of Duxbury, died Jan. 11 at her home. A native of Fall River, she was the daughter of the late Dr. Adelard and Laurence Demers. Mrs. Noble earned her bachelors degree in biology from Newton College of the Sacred Heart and a masters in educational psychology from Boston College. She also earned an R.N. from Newton-Wellesley School of Nursing and taught at Mount Auburn Hospital School of Nursing. Prior to moving to Duxbury, she and her family lived in Wilton, Conn. She was active in school organizations in both communities. Mrs. Noble leaves her husband Robert; her sons, Christopher and Alexander; and her sisters, Dolores Ferdon, Denise Demers, Suzanne Widdowson, and Marguerite Sheahan. Visiting hours will be held on Friday, Jan. 15 from 3-7 p.m. at the Shepherd Funeral Home, 216 Main St. (Rt. 106) Kingston. A funeral mass will be held on Saturday, Jan. 16 at 10 a.m. at the Holy Family Church, 601 Tremont St. (Rt. 3A). Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, P.O. Box 22718, Oklahoma City, OK 73123-1718. |
