John F. Noble, formerly of Duxbury, died Feb. 11.  He was 29. 

Born in Mansfield, Ohio, he was the son of John F. Noble III (Tuck) and Diane Gauntt Noble.

Kip graduated from Duxbury High School, class of 1995.  He attended Plymouth State College.  He enlisted in the Army Reserves and completed basic training at Ft. Jackson, S.C.

Kip played varsity hockey for Duxbury and was most proud of being a teammate on the Duxbury Squirt A State Championship team coached by Ed Brzek and Joe Murphy.  His hobbies included golf, skiing with his brother, friends and family, along with fishing with his close friend Ben.

Besides his parents, Kip leaves his sister, Kelly of Los Angeles; a brother, Robert of San Francisco; his paternal grandmother, Barbara Noble of Venice, Fla.; and maternal grandparents, Robert and Bernadette Gauntt also of Venice, Fla.  He was the grandson of the late John F. Noble, Jr. 

A memorial service will be held at the Shepherd Funeral Home, 216 Main St., (Rt. 106) in Kingston, on Friday, February 17, at 12 o’clock.  Memorial donations may be made to: Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Portland, P.O. Box 7830, Portland, ME 04112.
