Philip Weston Randall Sr. died on April 30 at the age of 78. A life-long resident of Duxbury, he was the son of the late Lewis B. and Phyllis E. (Bacon) Randall. He was a veteran of the Korean War. A carpenter/builder, a former Building Inspector for the Town of Duxbury and after coming down with Parkinson Disease at an early age, he was a grower of flowers. He was a proud descendant of John and Priscilla Alden and Myles Standish, and a member of the Alden Kindred of America, the Duxbury Legion, and the Duxbury Senior Club.  Mr. Randall leaves his wife of 57 years, Patricia E. (Haslett) Randall; his sons, Richard V. and Philip W. Jr. of Duxbury and Peter W. of Bonsall, Cal.; his brothers, Russell, Keith and Lewis Jr., and the late Raymond and Robert; four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.  A memorial service will be held Sunday, May 24 at 12 p.m. at the Church of Saint John the Evangelist, Washington Street, Duxbury. Memorial donations can be made to the American Parkinson Disease Association, MA Chapter, 72 East Concord St. C3 Boston, MA 02118. |
