Henry F. Monroe Jr., 95 of Duxbury, formerly of Hanson and Whitman died Sunday May 10 at the Jordan Hospital after a lengthy illness. Mr. Monroe was born and raised in Hanson, and was married for 64 years to the late Florence E. (Lamborghini) Monroe. He served in the US Army during World War II. He delivered milk for A.R. Parker and H.P. Hood Co. for many years, and was a custodian/maintenance man for the Whitman School department for 20 years.

 

Mr. Monroe leaves his son Richard Monroe of W. Allis, Wis.; his daughter Bonnie Jean Molin of Stoughton; five grandchildren and five great grandchildren.  All services are private.
