David A. Bradford, 57, lobsterman

David A. Bradford, of Marshfield, formerly of Duxbury, died on Nov. 6. Born in New Brunswick, N.J., Mr. Bradford graduated from Duxbury High School.

He was a salesman and a lobsterman by profession who retired just last year. He loved the sea and he held a captain’s license and an amateur radio operator’s license.

Mr. Bradford was the husband of the late Maryellen (McLaughlin) Bradford and the son of Arthur and Margaret (Simon) Bradford of Duxbury. He was the brother of Judith Graner of Marco Island, Fla., John Bradford of Trenton, Tenn., and Jeffrey Bradford of Westfield and the uncle of Brittany Bradford, Kali Bradford and Stacey Cash Graner.

Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, Nov. 12, at 11 a.m., in the MacDonald Funeral Home, 1755 Ocean Street, Marshfield. Visiting hours were Tuesday, Nov. 11 from 2-6 p.m. Burial will be in the Mayflower Cemetery, Duxbury.
