Agnes L. (Sullivan) Harrington, 103, of Green Harbor, Marshfield, died
on Sunday, October 5. Born in County Cork, Ireland, she had lived in
Green Harbor as a summer resident since l946 and as a permanent
resident since l970.
Agnes L. (Sullivan) Harrington, 103, of Green Harbor, Marshfield, died on Sunday, October 5. Born in County Cork, Ireland, she had lived in Green Harbor as a summer resident since l946 and as a permanent resident since l970. She was an active parishioner and member of Sodality of Our Lady of The Assumption Church, Green Harbor, a member of Catholic Daughters, Marshfield Council on Aging, and the 60+ Club. Mrs. Harrington was the sole survivor of l5 children of the late Dennis and Mary Sullivan. She was the wife of the late Timothy Harrington. She leaves her children, John Harrington and his wife Mary of Duxbury, Mary Cawley and her husband John of West Roxbury, Ann Harrington of N.Y.C, Kathleen Doyle and her husband Richard of Londonderry, N.H. She also leaves a daughter-in-law Jane Harrington of Green Harbor. She was also the mother of the late Timothy Harrington and the late Donald Harrington and the mother-in-law of the late Vincent Foley of N.Y.C. She also leaves eleven grandchildren and fifteen great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, Oct. 9, at 9 a.m., at the MacDonald Funeral Home, l755 Ocean St., Route l39, Marshfield followed by a Funeral Mass in Our Lady of The Assumption Church at l0 a.m. Visiting hours will be held on Wednesday, October 8, from 4-8 p.m. Burial will be in the Winslow Cemetery, Marshfield.
