Mrs. Jane “Cobie” Gladwin, 88, of Duxbury, died Thursday, September 25
in the Southwood Nursing Home in Norwell after a short illness. She was
born in Utrecht, Holland on Nov. 10, 1919, the daughter of the late
William and Antoinette (Stalwyck) Moons. She was a resident of
Bloomfield Hills, Mich. until moving to Duxbury one and a half years
ago.
Mrs. Jane “Cobie” Gladwin, 88, of Duxbury, died Thursday, September 25 in the Southwood Nursing Home in Norwell after a short illness. She was born in Utrecht, Holland on Nov. 10, 1919, the daughter of the late William and Antoinette (Stalwyck) Moons. She was a resident of Bloomfield Hills, Mich. until moving to Duxbury one and a half years ago. Mrs. Gladwin enjoyed interior decorating and loved her home and gardens. She leaves a daughter, Cobie M. Gladwin of Duxbury, and a brother, William Moons, Jr. of Oregon. She was the sister of the late John Moons, Andrew Moons, and Josina Schalk. She also leaves many nieces and nephews. The Funeral Mass was held on Monday, Sept. 29, in the Holy Family Church on Tremont Street. Burial took place at the Mayflower Cemetery. |
