Mrs. Grace F. (McHatton) Cayon, 91, of Duxbury died on Saturday, August 16, at Bay Path in Duxbury after a brief illness.
Mrs. Grace F. (McHatton) Cayon, 91, of Duxbury died on Saturday, August 16, at Bay Path in Duxbury after a brief illness. The daughter of the late William P. and Catherine E. (Williams) McHatton, she was born in Chelsea on September 10, 1916.{sidebar id=4} She was raised and educated in Chelsea and had lived in Braintree, Norwell and Carver before moving to Duxbury three years ago. Mrs. Cayon loved to travel and spent many winters in Spain with her husband. She also loved spending time with her family and grandchildren. Mrs. Cayon leaves two sons, Martin R. Cayon of Plymouth and Ronald D. Cayon of Katy, Texas, one daughter, Sharon M. Andrew of Duxbury, nine grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren and one great great grandchild. She was the wife of the late Mario G. Cayon, the mother of the late Stephen E. Cayon and sister of the late John McHatton, Dottie Lewis and Mary Zincuck. A Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, August 21, 10 a.m., at Holy Family Church. Burial will follow at Blue Hill Cemetery in Braintree. Visiting hours will be held on Wednesday, Aug. 20, 4-8 p.m., at the Sullivan Funeral Home, 551 Washington Street, Route 53 in Hanover. |
