Carol A. Hayes, 72, formerly of Whitman, died Aug. 8 at her daughter’s
home in West Bridgewater, while surrounded by her four children, who
loved her dearly.
Carol A. Hayes, 72, formerly of Whitman, died Aug. 8 at her daughter’s home in West Bridgewater, while surrounded by her four children, who loved her dearly. Born in Jamaica Plain, she was the daughter of the late Lt. George H. and Bertha Faustini of Braintree. She was educated in Braintree schools and raised her family in Whitman.{sidebar id=4} Carol had been a Cape Cod resident for past 17 years and has attended Cape Cod Bible Alliance Church in Brewster, where she enjoyed investing time into the lives of children and teaching them about the love of Jesus in her Sunday school class. Carol leaves Francis E. Hayes of Whitman; her sister, Gail Tausevich of Duxbury; and her children, Kathleen Fabricius and her husband Jim of Temecula, Calif., Edward Hayes and his wife Melanie of Brewster, Robin Butler and her husband Joseph of West Bridgewater, and Maureen Goodspeed and her husband Mark of Orleans. She has 13 grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Her funeral service was held at the Cape Cod Bible Alliance Church in Brewster on Aug. 13 at 10 a.m. Memorial donations may be made in her memory to the Hospice of Greater Brockton, 500 Belmont St., Suite 215, Brockton, MA 02301.
