Mr. Robert A. Fontaine, age 60, of Duxbury died on Monday, March 3. He
served as the Duxbury Police Prosecutor for 30 years until his
retirement in 2002.
Mr. Robert A. Fontaine, age 60, of Duxbury died on Monday, March 3. He served as the Duxbury Police Prosecutor for 30 years until his retirement in 2002. Born in Worcester, he graduated from Bancroft High School in Worcester and Northeastern University. He also served as a corporal in the U.S. Marines during the Vietnam War.{sidebar id=1} Mr. Fontaine leaves his wife Denise Fontaine of Duxbury, two daughters, Shelley Fontaine of Kingston and Raylee Fontaine of Duxbury. He also leaves a grandson Brody Murphy Finnerty of Kingston and a brother John J. Fontaine of Ashland. Funeral services will be held on Friday, March 7, at 10 a.m., at the Holy Family Church in Duxbury. Following the service he will be buried with military honors at the Massachusetts National Cemetery in Bourne at 12:45 p.m. In lieu of flowers, contributions in his memory may be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105-1942.{sidebar id=6} |
