Barry Loring Wirt of Duxbury died on Wed., Dec. 26 at the Boston Medical Center after a long illness. He was 58 years old.
Barry Loring Wirt of Duxbury died on Wed., Dec. 26 at the Boston Medical Center after a long illness. He was 58 years old. ![]() Mr. Wirt was the former chairman of the Marjory Parcher Fund 4th of July committee. Mr. Wirt loved spending time with his family, and loved to go camping. He was also involved with the Cubs Scouts and many other civic groups. Mr. Wirt leaves his children, Diana and her husband Evan Parke of Kingston, John and his wife Jennifer Wirt of Plymouth, and Matt Wirt and Paula Labbe of Kingston. He also leaves a brother Herbert and his wife Suzanne Wirt of Duxbury, a sister Judy and her husband Juan Torruella of Duxbury. He was also the brother of the late William Wirt. Mr. Wirt also leaves nine grand children as well as many nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held on Sat., Jan. 5 at the First Parish Church in Duxbury at 1 p.m. Donations may be made in Mr. Wirt's name to the Marjory Parcher Fund, PO Box 1743, Duxbury, MA 02331. |
