Meet a ballerina from José Mateo Ballet Theatre’s production of “The Nutcracker” at the Duxbury Free Library on Wednesday, Nov. 14 at 4:15 p.m.
The dancer will read the holiday classic where Clara’s dream world comes to life. Attendees will have the opportunity to view a costume close-up, feel the pointe shoes and ask the dancer questions about what it’s like to be a real life ballerina. This program is recommended for ages five and older with an adult (no babies or toddlers, please) and advance registration for both children and adults is needed. To register, call the children’s department at 781-934-2721 ext.115, drop by the children’s reference desk or go to the online calendar at duxburyfreelibrary.org, click calendar.
