Jack Conway Realtor’s Duxbury office on Rte. 3A is a new drop-off site for donations for the “Lion’s Share” Food Pantry on Summer Street. “Our late founder Jack Conway left an extraordinary legacy of community service and philanthropy on the South Shore,” said Conway Duxbury Manager Janet Pistone. “We want to follow his lead by helping the Duxbury Lions Club to feed needy residents in our town.”  The Duxbury Lions Club established the “Lions Share” Food Pantry in June and has already helped serve so many members of our community.

Donations of non-perishable food items may be dropped off from 9 a.m. – 5 p.m. seven days a week at the Conway sales office at 116 Tremont St. A list of items requested for the fall season includes: canned peaches, fruit cocktail and pears, Cheerios, Special K and Corn Flakes; peanut butter, jelly and jam, white tuna in water, low sodium spaghetti sauce, crackers, cranberry, apple and grape juice, coffee, and cookies.

“Jack Conway, Realtor is happy to be part of this ongoing effort,” said Pistone. “The winter months are coming, and the need for the food pantry will be even greater. We want to help keep its shelves well stocked.”
