Maggie Cornelius will be joining The Clipper this summer as an intern. She is going into her junior year at the University of Massachusetts Amherst studying design and art history. She also writes for the UMass Daily Collegian online blogs page writing about arts and entertainment. She’s covered events such as The Black Keys concert in Boston and reviews of TV shows for her blog. She has experience in photography and working for the Dragon Flyer as layout editor in high school. She looks forward to working with layout again during her internship, as well as learning the ropes of news reporting. So far she has helped report on the AFS students and worked with the layout team on photo spreads. After graduation Maggie hopes to work for a magazine like National Geographic or a fashion magazine like Elle in the art department. She also hopes to incorporate her love of photography into her career. Maggie is 20 years old and has lived in Duxbury for her whole life.
