St. Sebastian’s School in Needham announced Joseph M. Kearney, a sophomore and son of Stephen and Janis Kearney, made the honor roll for the third quarter of the 2011-2012 school year. Chris and Mirra (Valtonen, formerly of Finland) Palfrey of Waltham announce the birth of their first child, a daughter named Naomi Cecilia, born March 17, 2012 at 3:14 a.m. at Emerson Hospital. She weighed 7 ½ ounces and was 21 inches long. Proud grandparents are Debra Palfrey of Duxbury, John Palfrey of Plymouth and Marja-Leena Grönfors of Helsinki, Finland. Great grandparents are Priscilla and Richard Wonkka of Plymouth and the late Martha and George Palfrey of Duxbury. Nancy Hoffman, daughter of Stephen and Irene Hoffman, was named to the dean’s list for the fall 2011 semester at The Johns Hopkins University. Brett E. Sahlberg, the son of Jon and Lisa Sahlberg, has been named to the dean’s list at Colby College in Maine for the fall semester. Dr. Joseph Santelli of Crescent Street attended the grand opening of the largest Mini Dental Implant training facility in the nation in Buffalo, N.Y. Dr. Santelli lectured to 55 dentists. He was awarded Diplomat status in the International Association of Mini Dental Implants, the highest status a dentist can attain. |
