| WANTED: All five year olds for Kindergarten |

For all children who will be five-years-old on or before Sept. 1, 2012, registration for kindergarten will be held at Chandler School on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, March 12 – 15, 2012. We encourage all age appropriate children to participate in the registration process, regardless of your plans for next year. To register: Visit the Duxbury Public School’s website duxbury.k12.ma.us to access the required documents for kindergarten registration. Please be sure to select Full Day Kindergarten or Half Day Kindergarten on the registration form. Call Mary Duffy at Chandler School 781-934-7680 to schedule an appointment to have your child’s hearing screened by a registered nurse and to complete necessary paperwork. Bring your child to the appointment to have his/her hearing screened by registered nurses. Bring a certified (raised seal) birth certificate to the appointment. It will be copied and returned to you that day. Bring a copy of your child’s immunizations to the appointment. A physical exam is required before entering school in September. If selecting Full Day Kindergarten, a non-refundable deposit of $425 in the form of a check or money order made payable to Duxbury Public Schools is required at the time of registration. An evening orientation for parents/guardians of incoming kindergarten children will be held on Thursday, March 22 at 7 p.m. in the Chandler Cafeteria. |
