The state's legislative leaders recently handed out committee appointments. Here's where Duxbury's legislators wound up:

Senate
Bob Hedlund: Post Audit and Oversight, Global Warming and Climate Change, Community Development and Small Business, Housing, Public Health, Transportation.

House
Dan Webster: Joint Committee on Financial Services (ranking member), Joint Committee on Housing (ranking member), Joint Committee on the Judiciary, House Committee on Ways and Means.

Tom Calter: Personnel and Administration, Higher Education, Veterans and Federal Affairs.

Here is the breakdown, courtesy of Beacon Hill Roll Call, of the amount of additional annual stipends that representatives receive for serving in various positions appointed by Speaker DeLeo. The amount listed is the stipend that is paid to the legislator beyond and above the base $61,439.76 salary that all legislators receive.

$25,000 The chairman of the senate committee on ways and means and the chairman of the house committee on ways and means.
