Water Funds for Delano Well Site Debated

In preparation for the upcoming Special Town Meeting June 14, selectmen discussed Article 9, which proposes to spend $117,600 in water enterprise funds for ten acres of the 32-acre Delano property off Old Cordwood Path to preserve it for future well use.

Another Threatening Note Surfaces at DHS

For the sixth time this year, an anonymous threatening note has been found at Duxbury High School. Duxbury Police Chief Mark DeLuca said the latest note was found Tuesday morning in a girls’ locker room at the school and like other notes, lists the name of 14 specific freshmen as targets of violence.

Grant Awarded for Group Home On Delano Land

Adelphia, which provides cable television and internet service for 85,000 customers in the Southeastern Massachusetts, recently announced that they are exploring the possible sale of the company to recover from over $20 billion in debt.
