Valerie Haight-Cappola and Tad Donaldson were married Oct. 30, 2011 at the United Church of Christ in Norwell, officiated by Rev. Dr. Stephen Chapin Garner. The bride is the daughter of George and Evelyn Haight of Duxbury and the bridegroom is the son of the late Edward “Dino” and Connie Donaldson, and soon-to-be stepfather Ernie Incorvati of The Villages, Fla. The bride was given in marriage by her son, Alec Cappola, who also participated as a groomsman in the ceremony. Valerie’s daughter Lydia Cappola was her maid of honor and her bridesmaid was the daughter of the groom, Nathalie Donaldson. The couple’s long time close friend Tim Palsson was Tad’s best man. Others that participated in the ceremony were Valerie’s brother Jeff Haight, sister Alison Condon, lifelong friend Lisa Arlin and Tad’s sister Lori Townes. The couple are Duxbury High School graduates; Tad in 1981 and Valerie in 1983. Tad is a builder and owner of Houseworks, a local construction company. Valerie attended Boston Architectural Center and worked with her father’s architectural firm for several years. The couple make their home with their teenaged kids in Duxbury and will spend their honeymoon in Spain this coming May. |
