Jennifer and Stephen Herchen of Plymouth announce the marriage of their daughter, Annelise Louise, to Drew Harris Rhoda, son of Julie Horn of Fountain City, Ind. and Mark Rhoda-Reis of Madison, Wis. 

The wedding took place on July 8, 2011 at the bride’s family home overlooking Cape Cod Bay.  Pastor Josh Carlson of New Hope Chapel officiated the late afternoon ceremony.   Family and friends presented readings and provided music.  The celebration continued with an evening reception for family and friends at Waverly Oaks Golf Club in Plymouth.  A second reception for Midwest family and friends was held July 30 at the Tarum Shrine Club in Richmond, Ind. Emily Herchen, the bride’s sister, served as maid of honor.  Close friends, Stephanie Kenner and Julianna Hopkins, were the bridesmaids.  Brent Smith, the bridegroom’s friend and mentor, was the best man.  Erik Thogerson, good friend, and Zach Herchen, brother of the bride, were the groomsmen.

Annie, a 2006 graduate of Duxbury High School, and Drew, a 2005 graduate of Northeastern High School in Fountain City, Ind., met while attending Indiana University’s Jacobs School of Music in Bloomington.  In 2010 Annie received a Bachelors of Music Education with High Distinction and Drew earned a Bachelors of Music Education with a minor in wind conducting.

The couple has made their home in Chesterton, Ind.  Annie serves as the Boston Middle School Band Director in La Porte, Ind.  Drew is the Band Director at Willowcreek Middle School in nearby Portage, Ind.
