7 p.m. Tuesday, March 12, the third night of Town Meeting has commenced with Articl 23. 

9:40 p.m. Debate and questions continue regarding Article 19, which requests to place a solar facility on a parcel of land at the transfer station. 

9:11 p.m. Anmial control bylaw raises concerns about what the term "under control" specifically means. 

8:35 p.m. After nearly an hour of debate, voters decide not to put fluoride choice question on the town election ballot. 

7:30 p.m. Annual Town Meeting has resumed with Article 15, on fluoride choice. The floor is now open for debate for and against water flurodiation. 

4:19 p.m. After extensive debate on serveral motions within Article 6, the operating budget, Town Meeting moves swiftly through Articles 7, 8 and 9. Voters now vote on three separate motions within Article 10, revolving funds. 

3:39 p.m. Voting continues as Town Meeting works through various motions within ATM Article 6, the FY14 Capital Budget. 

2:40 p.m. Voters approve FY14 operating budget, Town Meeting Article 5, in its entirety. Attendees now listen to a presentation by Jim Lampert, on the function of the Fiscal Advisory Committee. 

2:34 p.m. Town meeting voters approve FY14 operating budget for Duxbury schools after a presentation from superintendent Dr. Ben Tantillo. 

1:15 p.m. Moderator Weiler has resumed Town Meeting and finance director John Madden gives his presentation on the FY14 Operating Budget. 

12:16 p.m. Moderator Friend Weiler adjourns Town Meeting for an hour-long recess for lunch. Town Meeting will resume at 1:15 p.m. 

11:55 a.m. Selectmen Shawn Dahlen, in reference to ATM Article 3, moved to amend the article to reduce the budget to eliminate the stipend given to Selectmen for the FY14. The Board of Selectmen generally do not accept the stipend each year. 

11:21 a.m. Town Meeting votes to approve article to appropriate $260,000 for a settlement with former Police Chief DeLuca. Special Town Meeting has now been adjourned and Annual Town Meeting is back in session. 

10:40 a.m. A STM Article seeking to transfer money from the school contingency budget to the field house construction budget is now on the floor. The sum of money was inadvertently appropriated for the school contingency budget instead of the field house construction budget due to a clerical error. Although not asked for any new money, voters have many questions about where the money is coming from and going to. 

10 a.m. Many voters asked questions about STM Article 9, which concerned having more fund appropriated for unforeseen repairs to the Powder Point Bridge.

9:50 a.m. Special Town Meeting has now moved on to STM Article 7. The previous motions have been unanimously supported by voters. The most significant financial motions included damage and clean up impacts from the blizzard in February. 

9 a.m. Moderator Friend Weiler is currently up at the podium explaining the process of Town Meeting for those voters who are not familiar. Town Meeting will momentarily be adjourned for Special Town Meeting to take place.
