Warren Miller’s 63rd annual feature film “Flow State” continues its US Tour at the Duxbury Performing Arts Center Dec. 6 at 7 p.m. with one show only.
“Flow State” guides viewers to the top of the world’s most striking peaks, taking you on an exhilarating journey across the globe to Norway, Austria, California, Switzerland and beyond. “Flow State” throws down some of the most captivating footage ever shot by Warren Miller Entertainment. Olympic gold medalist Ted Ligety takes on Alaska’s mighty Chugach, Julian Carr bombs down Utah’s famed Wasatch, Jackie Paaso explores the Norwegian Arctic and Chris Anthony makes Warren Miller history on 70-year-old, 10th Mountain Division ski equipment. If you had a rollcall of winter’s finest athletes, they are all here – hosted by Jonny Moseley and showcasing celebrated athletes including Colby West, Chris Davenport, Jess McMillan and David Wise. Winter is right around the corner, and it is time to enter the “Flow State” ... where the mountain meets the mind. The Duxbury event will be hosted by emcee Dan Egan, a 12-time skier in previous Warren Miller films and previous Milton High School ski team captain. Every ticket holder will receive a weekday Sugarbush lift ticket coupon and a raffle ticket for skis, helmets and other great prizes. The first 200 in the door will also get a SnowWorld magazine. Everyone can enter the national WME Sweepstakes for a great ski trip. Warren Miller’s “Flow State” premiered in Salt Lake City on Oct. 19 and then swept the nation as a limited release, stopping in more than 240 cities during its run across North America, but the only south shore showing is Thursday night Dec. 6 at 7 p.m. at the Duxbury Performing Arts Center. Winter is coming, so buckle up... and watch this first. Get tickets at Sportworks Ltd in Duxbury or online at DUXPAC.com. |
