Peter R. Kitchener, 69 of Duxbury, died suddenly on Monday, May 28 at Tufts Medical Center surrounded by his family. Mr. Kitchener was born in Beverly, the son of the late Mavis (Morrill) and Charles Kitchener. He graduated from Beverly High School and Northeastern University. He served six years in the United States Air Force. He loved the ocean, golf and Vizsla dogs, especially his beloved Barney, Kelsey and Wheezer. He was the President of Advanced Interconnects Marketing (AIM) for 16 years. Previously he was a staff engineer at MIT Lincoln Lab in Lexington for 18 years. Mr. Kitchener leaves his wife of 33 years, Barbara G. (Crosby) Kitchener; his brothers Jay and his wife Chris of Alton, N.H. and Toby and his partner Shannon Barror of Beverly; his in-laws, Ruth E. Crosby of Weston, the late Richard A. Crosby, Rod and Jan Stewart of Littleton; many nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles. A memorial service to celebrate Mr. Kitchener’s life was held on June 4 at St. John’s Episcopal Church in Newtonville.
