Jack Conway office helps food pantry

Jack Conway Realtor’s Duxbury office on Rte. 3A is a new drop-off site for donations for the “Lion’s Share” Food Pantry on Summer Street. “Our late founder Jack Conway left an extraordinary legacy of community service and philanthropy on the South Shore,” said Conway Duxbury Manager Janet Pis-tone. “We want to follow his lead by helping the Duxbury Lions Club to feed needy residents in our town.”  The Duxbury Lions Club established the “Lions Share” Food Pantry in June and has already helped serve many members of the community.

Donate Halloween Candy for the Troops.  The DSU is sponsoring a Halloween candy giveback event for one day only, this Thursday, Nov. 1, from 2 to 5 p.m., at the Duxbury Student Union. Bring your unopened leftover Halloween candy to DSU and receive a gift from Duxbury Children’s Dentistry.  All Duxbury residents are encouraged to participate.  Letters, cards, and children’s artwork is encouraged as well. Candy donations, art and letters collected will go to Cape Cod Cares for our troops where the items will be packaged and sent to soldiers serving overseas.

MCAS results are positive
