Storm causes major flooding

The Duxbury Fire Department and Emergency Management has reported major flooding on Gurnet Road. The fire department and National Guard are staged on Cable Hill. Areas roads are reported as being harzardous and residents are urged to use extreme caution when traveling.

Ms. Leighton’s fifth grade class challenges you to be smarter than a Duxbury fifth grader!

Smarter Than a Duxbury Fifth Grader is Thursday, March 14 from 6:30-8:30 p.m. at the Duxbury Performing Arts Center. The Alden PTA would like to welcome you to a night of laughter and fun as the Duxbury fifth graders show their mad skills in a challenge against some brave few who are willing to find out if they are smarter than a Duxbury fifth grader. Tickets are $10 per adult, $5 per child, $30 max per family. Participating fifth graders do not need to buy a ticket. Fluoride Choice: Dux. adds lead to water

‘Cagebirds’ flies on to semi-finals
